MB METI issues building energy performance certificates, carries out HVAC and heating and cooling load calculations, and advises on BREEAM assessment.
What we do
Four core areas covering building energy performance, from design stage calculations through to certification documents.
We prepare energy performance certificates for buildings and parts of buildings at the design, construction, renovation, sale and lease stages. We assess the thermal properties of the envelope, the performance of engineering systems and the contribution of renewable energy equipment, and substantiate the assigned energy performance class.
We support the BREEAM assessment process, from reviewing achievable credits and setting out requirements to preparing the evidence documentation. We help align design decisions with designers and contractors so that requirements are met on schedule and without rework.
We carry out calculations for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems: air flow balance, pressure losses, duct and pipe sizing, equipment capacity, hydraulic balancing and control parameters.
We calculate heat losses and cooling loads for individual rooms and for the building as a whole. The results are used to size equipment, substantiate system decisions and estimate expected running costs.
Process
You send the project data: design material, drawings or a description of the existing situation.
We review the scope of work required, the timescale, and send a quotation.
We run the calculations or prepare the documentation, coordinating with the project team where needed.
We hand over the completed documents and answer questions on applying the results.

MB METI works in building energy performance and engineering systems. The core of the work is the calculations and documentation required at the design, construction completion, certification and property transaction stages.
We work with residential, office, retail and industrial buildings, both new build and renovation projects, throughout Lithuania.
